The Pinpoint Marine GPS and Satellite tracking device combines a high sensitivity marine GPS antenna with a satellite tracking device to report the position of the vessel. The GPS output may be fed to any navigation software compatible with the NMEA0183 serial interface. The GPS receiver will measure the position of the vessel every 2 hours and if the position of the vessel moves by over 250 meters, then the tracker will report the latest position via satellite communications.
The device contains an internal battery so that the satellite tracking functionality will remain operational for approximately 30 days once the main power supply is switched off.
